Make a positive impact on the lives of parents with young children
Do you have a great imagination? Are you passionate about early childhood development and parenting? Do you love working with little ones aged 0-5?
If so, we might have a fantastic, flexible position available for you. Broome Youth and Families Hub is on the search for casual Play Helpers to work within our Playgroup and Parenting Support Program. Our helpers will assist during school terms with various aspects of the early childhood program. They will support children to engage in learning activities, help implement parent workshops, and they’ll role model positive parenting strategies. Our ideal candidates will be patient, and enthusiastic about nurturing the growth and development of young children. We especially welcome applications from Kimberley Aboriginal people and people who are parents or carers themselves. This is a family inclusive position—so, if you have little ones that you’d like to bring along while you work, you are welcome to, so long as it doesn’t affect your ability to help deliver the program! The program runs from 8.30am—1.30pm on weekdays, with a minimum of a three-hour shift.
